Share you calendar
Microosoft Exchange provides powerful collaborative tools to
enable you to work more efficiently with your colleagues. One of
these enables you to view your colleagues calendars and allocate
meetings and tasks to them. This how to details how to share you
calendar to allow you colleagues to view it
Click on the Calendar icon on the left hand side of
Outlook 2003
Click Share My Calendar... to open the Calendar
Properties dialog box
To select the people who you would like to view / amend your
calendar click Add...
Select the people that you would like to provide access to your
calendar by clicking on their names
To select more than one person, keep the CTRL key
depressed whilst selecting names
Click OK to return to the Calendar Properties dialog
box
Select the Permission Level you would like these users to have
to your calendar
Author or Editor is normally used
Default and Anonymous Permission Levels should be set to
None
In the area below Permission Level, more fine tuning of the
access level can be made by selecting the relevant options
You can continue adding additional users and each one can have
a different Permission Level as required
When you're happy with the access settings of your calendar,
click OK
